I've had the filter for about 4 months now and it has transformed my shower, and in return my skin and hair are much softer and cleaner. The screwing the filter into the shower works well, I used a little plumbers tape which they provide in the package to get the perfect seal. Then you mainly just need to unscrew the sides of the filter to replace the cartridges that slide out of the unscrewed sides of the filter and replace the cartridges inside the side and screw it back into place.
